Non-NHS Services

Non-NHS Service Charges

Some services requested by patients are not covered by the NHS. These include, for example, certain medical reports, letters, certificates and forms for third parties. The GP practice is therefore permitted to charge a fee for this work.

Our fees reflect the time required to review your medical records, complete the requested work and, where appropriate, obtain information from you or other healthcare professionals. Please note that the applicable fee must be paid in full before work on your request can be started.

Turnaround times: Please allow 28 days for completion of routine non-NHS work. Some requests may take longer where detailed review of your medical records or additional information is required. We will let you know if this is the case.

Please do not contact the practice to check whether your request is ready before the stated turnaround time has passed, as this can delay the processing of requests.

Where possible, please submit requests well in advance of any deadline. Urgent or expedited requests may not be possible.

Our current fees are detailed below.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

DVLA Medical Examinations

We have made the decision not to undertake private physical examinations for DVLA medical assessments. This allows us to focus our limited appointment capacity on providing NHS care to our patients and helps us protect precious NHS appointments.

We are happy to provide the DVLA with factual information and relevant evidence from your medical record, where appropriate and with your consent.

However, if the DVLA requires a physical examination or assessment by a doctor, you will need to arrange this independently with another private GP or medical service that offers DVLA examinations.

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us prioritise NHS appointments for essential patient care.
