There is also a Mental Health clinic in our building that we can refer you to.

We also have a health kiosk in reception where you can get your blood pressure, height and weight measured - no appointment needed.

Health checks

A general health check are available as follows:

NHS Health check

  • aged 40-74 (no other conditions, every 5 years)
  • Well Woman
  • Well Man
  • aged 75 and over (who has not seen a GP in the last year)

General checks will be carried out as follows:

Blood pressure, blood tests (as appropriate), Height and Weight, Lifestyle advice, Tetanus status.

Social Prescribing

We have a team of Social Prescribers who can offer you an appointment for up to an hour and a half.

The team will talk to you about any social factors that are contributing to your health and wellbeing. They have information on many different services, projects and groups who may be able to help you. 

Social Factors that affect our health include things like money management, how we spend our time, our mental health, our friend and family networks and our physical health and long-term condition management.
